Events Manager

 

Job Description This role combines business development with project management to oversee the successful tendering
and profitable implementation of new and existing projects.

Job Accountabilities

... Research assigned market segments, identify and tender for business opportunities.
... Forecast growth from existing accounts, sustain business at hand and maximise revenues.
... Liaison with clients to ascertain their event requirements, produce detailed proposals.
... Oversee project management, control project budgets and quality implementation.
... Produce post-event evaluation and analysis reports for event stakeholders.
... Build good-will and maintain positive relationship with key decision makers.
... Attend industry networking events to promote Meeting Minds - Experts.

Minimum Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications/Training


A University graduate, with minimum 5 years hand on experience in a middle management role, within the event marketing and management industry, preferably in the UAE, however candidates from other locations are welcome to apply. You must enjoy a solid background in the business of corporate events and/or international conferences and conventions.

Must be fluent in English both spoken and written, other languages will be an added advantage. You should be an analytical thinker with a high degree of self drive and commitment to achieve; you must also enjoy excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Further qualifications/training; in Marketing techniques, Business Development, Project management, Account management and Event production management, are an added plus.
