Delegate Relations Manager

 

This is a position for a confident individual with strong administrative, data base management and strong customer service
skills. Previous knowledge of Events Pro software or similar Event Management Software is required.


Job Accountabilities

... Manage system setup for new and exisiting events.
... Registering delegates, including abstract handling, hotel accommodation and for social events
... Liaison with delegates – mostly professionals and senior people – to assist them with their bookings and payments
.......as well as with the promotion of added services.
... Corresponde with delegates, promptly and professionally, addressing queries and event information.
... Manage the delegate database, and oversee email and SMS broadcasts for marketing and logistical aspects.
... Work onsite at conferences and events to manage onsite registration.
... Report on and monitor bookings and registrations.

Minimum Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications/Training

A University graduate, with minimum 2 years hand on experience in an event management role, within the the business
of corporate events and/or international conferences and conventions.

Must be fluent in English both spoken and written, other languages will be an added advantage.

Hands on knowledge of office applications is a must. You should be an outstanding customer service professional with a high
degree of self drive and commitment to achieve; you must also enjoy excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
